Carol Hushman joined Dennison Capen Group in 2008. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Carol worked for over 10 years as a program and development manager for SMART(Start Making A Reader Today) in the Portland metro area. Carol’s wonderful personality, knowledge of neighborhoods, and negotiation and project management skills make her a personable, effective and knowledgeable Buyer Agent. She is dedicated to helping clients find the right home and successfully managing their transactions from start to finish. Carol is committed to supporting her buyers before, during, and after their transaction has closed. Carol has consistently won the Five Star Real Estate Professional Award since 2012.

What’s your favorite pastime?
Reading a good book. I moonlighted at Annie Bloom’s Books in Multnomah Village on Friday
nights for over 25 years and still get my employee discount even though I stopped working at the
shop during the pandemic. Even better, though, is reading a good book with my two young
grandsons!

What’s something the average person doesn’t know about you?
I’m a pretty decent baker. I make a darn good apple pie. My carrot cake is a family favorite. And,
my holiday gingersnaps are legendary!

Where’s your favorite place in the city?
Washington and Yamhill County wineries.

Where are the best spots to eat in your neighborhood?
Seasons & Regions, Chez Jose, Marco’s, Baker & Spice, and Maplewood Coffee & Tea
